I've had the opportunity to do a lot more with Revit Building (must be specific now days with so many from which to choose) lately. Here's some helpful information all in one place for handy reference.
System Recommendations
Certified Hardware
Books
Two excellent books I would highly recommend for any library.
Introducing & Implementing Autodesk Revit Building by Lay Christopher Fox and James J. Balding, AIA.
ISBN: 1418020567
Both these guys have been around Revit for a long time and are a wealth of knowledge.
Mastering Autodesk Revit Building by Paul F. Aubin
ISBN: 1418020532
You may have heard me brag about Paul's books on ADT. His Revit text is just as great.
The best bet is to buy the pair. Amazon.com discounts them substantially if you buy them together.
Downloads
For the latest build (release) of the software in English
Autodesk Revit Library
BIMWORLD - A great new site with content from manufacturers.
Gallery
(Most of the other download and community links also have galleries as well.)
Autodesk Revit Design Gallery
Communities
AUGI has its own Revit Community with forums, galleries, tips and tricks, and more. Membership is free and you can almost always count on a Revit article in AUGIWorld magazine that you receive bi-monthly.
Autodesk Discussion Group for Revit
RevitCity (This almost is a combination of falling under downloads and community)
Learning Resources
AUGI has a free online ATP Program which often has courses in Revit.
If you are a subscription customer, you have e-learning tools online.
CDV Systems
Blogs
Breaking Down The Walls - Both ADT & Revit Info
RobiNZ CAD Blog - Occasional Revit info
Revit Beginners - Nice links too.
revit in plain english
Revit OpEd - Another good list of links that are well organized.
Revit Rants
RevitUp! - A new blog it appears by AUGI member, Brian Myers
