If you have received 2008, or are considering installing it, the first thing you will notice is that the installation screens will look very different. It has all changed greatly.
There are help areas throughout that give you an opportunity to click on a question and learn more about what the choice is. Content in AutoCAD Architecture is one example as is the difference between network and stand-alone installation.

As in the past, you must choose Custom installation on instead of Typical to get the Express Tools. You will have several screens for configuring the installation. This is also where you can turn off metric content.

It was a little more difficult to find where to make the shortcut for AutoCAD. Note also that you could have a different shortcut made for each profile.
Most 2008 products except Revit should have now shipped for the Building type products.
