Turn Off Tag Insertion Dialog Box

If you find it annoying to have a dialog box pop up every time you insert a tag, here's how you can turn it off.

1. Go to Options
   
2. Choose the AEC Content tab (scroll to the end of tabs if necessary)
3. Uncheck the box to "Display Edit Property Data During Tag Insertion"

Creating Schedule Tags With Multiple Property Sets

If you want to create a schedule tag and use the tag wizard available in AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD MEP 2009, you can't do it using Mtext. You can do it using plain single-line text.

Using single-line text allows you to choose several lines to associate multiple property sets.



Here's an example of one reason why you might use two property sets for top of duct and bottom of duct on one tag.
